Ms. Brown is a native of Washington, D.C. and has spent most of her life in the Washington area.  She has been drawing and sketching for many years and now paints primarily in transparent watercolors.  She has exhibited at several watercolor shows entitled Famous Artists of the 21st Century.  She also has been accepted into numerous juried National Shows.  Recently she has attended several workshops in Europe including Italy, Belgium and Provence, France.

Painting is Ms. Brown’s passion and she can’t wait to sketch and paint all the beautiful things she sees in nature, especially the trees, flowers and animals. Favorite subjects are ducks, birds, and chickens.  Light and shadow play a dynamic part in her paintings.  Color is also very important in her work.  She continually experiments with color to create different moods.
