Greetings from the California Watercolor Association! We are very pleased to announce our 42nd National Exhibition Water+Color to be held from September 8 through October 9, 2011, at the Marin Art and Garden Center. The Awards Ceremony and Artists' Reception will be held on Sunday, September 18, 2011, from 1:00 to 4:00 pm. We anticipate more than $15,000 in cash and merchandise awards.
We cordially invite all of your members to enter the competition by using the on-line entry form on the California Watercolor Association’s website, www.californiawatercolor.org. A copy of the attached prospectus is also available on our website OR send a SASE to: Prospectus CWA 42nd, 1740 Arlington Blvd, El Cerrito, CA 94530. Online entries only. All entries must be submitted by April 23 to be considered.

We would be most appreciative if you could disseminate this information to all your members via your March newsletter or in some similar manner. We likewise would be pleased to announce any of your exhibitions that would be open to our members through our newsletter as well.

Call for entries: The Baltimore Watercolor Society's Mid-Atlantic Exhibition at prestigious Strathmore Mansion in North Bethesda, MD will be held April 9 - May 21, 2011. Open to all watermedia artists in the Mid-Atlantic states and DC. Juror: John Salminen, AWS, NWS. Entry by CD. First place $1000. Deadline January 26, 2011.
