The Washington Water Color Association (WWCA) will be jurying for membership in January 2009.
The WWCA, founded in the late 19th century, is the oldest society for water media artists in the Washington Metropolitan area. It affords its members
* An opportunity to meet other watercolorists
* Improve and enhance skills through workshops and demonstrations
* Receive a periodic newsletter that includes information and a calendar of upcoming events
* Participate in juried and non-juried exhibitions
The WWCA awards a scholarship to a high school student who plans to persue a career in art.
