Anna Shuman is primarily a representational artist working with watercolor, oil and acrylic. Her work has been exhibited in the Washington area at the Strathmore Hall Art Center, Glenview Mansion, Montpelier Art Center, Montgomery College, McCrillis Art Gallery, the Yellow Barn Gallery and the Torpedo Factory.
Anna received her undergraduate degree from The Catholic University of America and her Master's degree in Art
Therapy from the George Washington University. For many years she taught art in the District of Columbia School system.
Anna has studied with many well-known art teachers including Walt Bartman, Carolyn Grosse Gawarecki, David Daniels and Edwin Ahlstrom.
